Double Hung Windows

Although most older homes in Houston and surrounding areas are single-hung – meaning that only the bottom sash operates or moves up and down – double-hung windows are becoming more popular. These windows have two (2) operating sashes so that the top and bottom sashes move up and down. This allows you to open the top sash of a window, while opening the bottom sash of another and will help to create a crossflow of fresh air throughout your home.
